※ ※ Before reading the article, TTP and TTIP?
The Trans-Pacific Partnership ( TTP )
A multilateral free trade agreement was launched in June 2005 with the four countries of New Zealand, Singapore, Chile and Brunei for the purpose of integrating the economies of the Asia-Pacific region. It aims to eliminate 90% of tariffs among member countries by January 2006 and to eliminate all trade barriers by 2015.
In February 2008, the United States began negotiations to participate in the agreement, and in August of that year Australia, Vietnam and Peru announced their intention to participate, and in October 2010 Malaysia announced its participation. In addition, Canada, Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan and South Korea have expressed interest in participating in the agreement.

The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership ( TTIP )
It is aimed at revitalizing trade and investment in the US and Europe, and is expected to reorganize the global economic system through tariff elimination, investment opening and deregulation. Some of the current TTIP negotiations have been published by the European Union in January 2015, and the deadline for negotiations has been adjusted from the end of 2014 to the end of 2015.

Why are we all so sensitive to the new trade pact?
BY THE DATA TEAM (The Economist)
Discussions about world trade are only good if they are successful. Multilateral transactions mean the same standards and low trade barriers for all. However, the Doha Round, which was started by the World Trade Organization in 2001, remains the only name and seems to have been almost closed since the negotiations on the amendment were made in Bali in 2013. World trade volume has grown slowly over recent years, and liberalization has been further advanced by regional free trade agreements (RTAs). RTAs, which were about 70 in 1990, have increased in number to fewer than 300 nowadays. The chart at the bottom shows some of the largest countries. Two RTAs decorate the headline (starting to get confusingly similar). The Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP) is an agreement that connects the economies of 11 countries in the Pacific Rim, including Japan and Singapore, to the United States. These twelve countries account for 40% of global GDP and one third of trade. Meanwhile, the Transatlantic Trade Investment Partnership Agreement (TTIP) is an ambitiously planned trade agreement between the United States and the European Union.
